"As you know I was visiting Evergreen Restaurant for business lunches occasionally for a couple of years simply due to its convenient location to my office. However, after the Restaurant was taken over by you two my reason for dining there moved from convenience of location to the excellent food, staff and atmosphere. John and Lisa, you have turned what was once a quaint bistro style cafe into a world class restaurant and functions centre.

From the moment I arrive I feel like a true guest. An always friendly smile and greeting from the manager, Megan, signals the start of what is always an enjoyable experience. The staff are always full of energy and it never ceases to amaze me how they all remember my name, my favourite drink and where I like to sit. I know this always impresses any business associate I am with.

The chefs in the kitchen, ably led by Tim and supported by Peter will make any adjustments you may want to make to a meal without a question and the food on the menu is always clever and rewarding.

Finally, you two are “true hosts”. I honestly feel like I am visiting a friend’s house. I no longer work from the office that was conveniently located near the Evergreen Restaurant. In fact my new office is a twenty minute drive away. But I now visit Evergreen Restaurant more than I ever did!

From great breakfasts, to fantastic lunches and finally a magical function for my mother’s 80th birthday, Evergreen Restaurant is my office away from the office.
